Seven things you should know about me…
First: After I finished college, I came home for what I expected would be a year or so. That was eight years ago.
Second: I have been kvetching about wanting to travel for at least 5 of those years, up until January of 2012 when I was laid off.
Third: I took my unexpected unemployment as an opportunity to thoroughly explore job prospects across continental United States.
Fourth: I have/had little to no savings.
Fifth: Solution? Ditch my apartment, slog 95% of my worldly belongings into my father’s attic, and move to the middle of the woods of western Massachusetts to live rent free till my departure on June 25th, 2012.
Sixth: I am freaking out.
Seventh: But I will be ok tomorrow.
